Looking for Old Cookie Recipe?!
Looking for Old Cookie Recipe?
My mom had this Betty Crocker cooky book, where each page had the title "Best Cooky of 19xx" or something like that. Each page had some historical fact or trivia in the bottom corner that pertained to the time period. The front cover of the book looked like a red and white gingham tablecloth. I'm looking for the chocolate chip cookie recipe. I think it was supposedly the "best cooky of 1935" or somewhere close to that. And I think the interesting fact(s) on the page were something to do with Roy Rogers and/or someting to do with the Prince of Wales giving up his throne for an American.
Does anyone have that recipe?
