Homemade Pizza Question?

I am wanting to cook a pizza from scratch and have a few questions... I have the dough done, and ready. My questions are can I cook the sausage on the pizza, or do I have to precook it before. That, and how long and what temp do I put it on for? It's a 2 lb. dough recipe and I don't want 2 pizzas; rather, one larger deep dish pan style one


Answers:

The sausage will taste better cooked before you put it on the pizza. The browning makes it tasty. If you had super tiny pieces of sausage, you could get away with not cooking it. But to be honest, raw sausage is sticky, and easier to sprinkle over your pizza if it's cooked.
