Possible to fry egg on ground?!

Question:

Possible to fry egg on ground?

live in florida 98 ground temp.

Answers:

Forget the ground, find a nice flat, dark coloured rock ( Slate is Ideal for this.) make sure it is exposed to direct sulight for a couple of hours. Clean and then grease the rock ( the inside of a piece of Bacon rind was carried for the purpose) with the inside of the rind and crack the egg onto it. Do not put multiple eggs right next to each other, keep them separated by at least an inch. Covering the eggs with a bright aluminum lid will speed up the process since it helps to cook the eggs from the top also. Any of you living in the hot areas of the US know that grabbing a chrome car handle sitting in the sun can blister your hand, so there is plenty of heat to go around. HMMM, a nice drink of Desert Tea long with a piece of that bacon.... I've had worse...
