How are images pre-printed on to icing?!

Question:

How are images pre-printed on to icing?

How do they make the preprinted cake toppers you can buy?

Answers:

Easy, same concept as your computer printer. Inkjet type nozzle fixed on a machine takes the picture (whatever is scanned or created) and sprays it on via lil nozzles-once again like your desktop printer, albeit food coloring instead of real ink
