Muffulettas- do they get soggy?!

Question:

Muffulettas- do they get soggy?

There's a big fad about Muffelttas lately, but I've never had nor made them before. They all have an oil/ vinegar mixture for the dressing, and also on the top of the finished sandwich, on the roll or bread. Then they also say you can serve it the next day after it's already been doused in this dressing overnight. This makes me automatically think it would be soggy. Would it? Is it supposed to be?

Answers:

actually if you use the right kind of bread it soaks up the olive salad and tastes better the longer you let it sit...if you used the wrong bread it would be a soggy messy...they actually have recipes for muffuletta bread...but a good italian will work too! ...good ol cajun food!!!!(stolen from the sicilians of course:-)
