Can you make homemade chocolate chips?

I live in Germany, and it′s so hard to find chocolate chips in the stores.
Can I make my own using regular bars of chocolate?


Answers:

I would try it, I would melt the chocolate and then put it into a piping bag with a large tip and then squeeze drops out onto wax paper and let them harden. Voila, chocolate chips.
