What are your favourite recipe sites?
Answers:
recipezaar.com: Just because it seems like a community. There are a lot of comments so you know if a recipe has been tried and tested. They give you a lot of tips as well. Then, you can also arrange the dishes according to rating. I always find what I'm looking for there.
allrecipes.com: Just because they have this cool "ingredient search" capacity where I just type in the ingredients I have and they give me the dishes I can make with it.
foodnetwork.com: Just because you can visit it after you've watched the cooking show demo on tv. You know the cooks/chef and then follow the recipe just like the way they do it on tv. One of my complaints on this site, it has too many distractions and can be a bit slow to load up unlike the previous two I've mentioned.
I have actually started looking for recipes in the unlikeliest of places, the youtube.com. Yes, they do show actual chefs making a dish and they have links to websites with the actual recipes. If you're a newbie, it is helpful to watch how they actually cook or bake something.
