What is the trick to flipping eggs or other foods like the chefs on TV do without using a utensil?!

Question:

What is the trick to flipping eggs or other foods like the chefs on TV do without using a utensil?

Answers:

The main trick is lots of practice. Practice in your back yard with uncooked dried beans and a cold pan. Do this a lot, until you have the wrist motion down. Then do it some more.

This trick is easier with food in small pieces, like stir fried vegetables, than it is with a big thing like an egg. So get good with those first, when you actually do it on a stove.

The motion is different for a pan with straight vertical sides and a pan with tapered sides, like a conventional skillet.
