I have two questions in related to baking.?
1.) I can't remember where I put my electric whipping device (to whip cake batter). Would it be effective if I stirred the contents of the cake batter myself or used a wire metal whisk?
2.) Instead of using vegetable oil, I was taught (by my mother) to use applesauce instead. How much should I use for a basic chocolate cake?
Answers:
I'd use a whisk if that's all you have.
Well if you're going to substitute ingredients, at least use the same amount of liquid that the recipe asks for.
