Precooked Shrimp?!

Question:

Precooked Shrimp?

I asked my husband to buy some shrimp for dinner tonight, but the recipe that I was making calls for marinating and grilling. He bought shrimp that was already cooked. Does anyone have any recipes that are good that I can use this shrimp for? Also, I checked and it said just let the shrimp defrost in the fridge for 8 hours, I only have about 5. Is there a way to expedite this without comprimising the integrity of the shrimp?

Answers:

You could make a salad of shredded lettuce, diced radishes, diced green onions, the shrimp, some mayonnaise thinned with a little milk, a little sugar and black pepper to go in the mayonnaise. Pour the dressing over the salad - you don't want too much - and not too thick. So pour some over the salad, stir and if everything isn't lightly coated, add a little more. If your shrimp are big, cut in half.
