When frying foods, what do you do with your used cooking oil? i was told not to pour it down the sink because?

it clogs up the drain. so what do you do with it?


Answers:

Either use an old coffee can or veggie can...
You can cut a milk container in half and use that....
In a pinch, I have lined a bowl with aluminum foil, poured the cooled oil into it...and later, picked up the foil corners and folded it into itself, and tossed...
Never toss out HOT oil...ALWAYS let it cool....
Do not pour it directly into your trash can...it will enevitably leak!
NEVER put it down the drain or disposal (It WILL clog !)...
Never re-use oil that has not been refridgerated...(I had a friend who made a bunch of us sick, because she re-used the oil in a FryDaddy, that she had let sit for DAYS unrefridgerated!...)....
