Can you tell if a chicken (whole bird) is cooked in the oven by placing uncooked popcorn in the cavity?!

Question:

Can you tell if a chicken (whole bird) is cooked in the oven by placing uncooked popcorn in the cavity?

When the corn pops, the chicken is cooked perfectly?
Really keen for responses to this...

Answers:

No, do not rely on this method. The best option is a thermometer that is pushed into the breast of the whole chicken. It can be dangerous to your health to use a questionable method. A cooking temperature of 160 degrees is advised. When cooking, use a meat thermometer or cook it until the meat is white, and don’t eat it if you see blood or pink meat.
