e. pour into a liquid measuring cu, set on counter. check at eye level. remove with rubber scraper

f. squash lumps. dip in measuring spoon. level

g. beat with a fork. measure out 2 tablespoonsful

h. pour into a dry measuring cup. level

Pay attention in class and learn these basic measuring techniques. While a lot of us don't measure precisely, it's because we've cooked for years and know which items matter...like measuring is important for baking cakes but not when making soup.
