What do you do to keep a jello mold from sticking to the mold?!

Question:

What do you do to keep a jello mold from sticking to the mold?

Answers:

As said before Pan or any type of aerosol oil, be careful of ones that are flavored. I don't use them because I don't like the flavor they impart on the jello. What I do when I ready to unmold the jello is fill my sink with medium hot water, dip the mold into the water (be careful not to let any water come over the edge of the mold) for up to 10 seconds depending on the size of the mold. remove from the water and place on a hand towel, wrap the towel around the outside to catch any drips, using your finger tips gently pull jello away from the sides of the mold; place plate or platter on top of mold, hold on to mold & plate & flip it all over so plate is on the bottom. You should be able to feel and/or hear the jello release. You may have to give it a gentle shake. Good luck.
