Just want to know why?
Why are the people in here so much friendlier than in Politics, Pets or Education? I spend my time between these 4 catagories. In Politics, they try to whip up on me. In Pets, they call me irresponsable. In Education, they call me ignorant. And I'm none of those but you people in here are always so polite and answer my amatuer cooking questions. I like y'all.

I guess I ask for it in Politics because I'm very out-spoken on what I believe and no 2 people in Politics ever agree. As for Pets, I was wanting my little Peke to have a litter of pups, not for profit but to keep, and I'm irresponsible for trying to be a backyard breeder and adding to the over-population of pets. Education? They're just up tight in there and report me for nothing nearly every time I go.
Answers:
Unlike Politics, Pets, or Education, we all have to eat in order to survive.
Many well educated political people with pets can't cook a lick. It is hard to come home at night and eat PB&J every night (although I love PB&J).
Cooking transcends age, race, religion, regions, etc.
Think about it, every major event in our lives is celebrated with food of some sort.....
Weddings- the reception
Deaths- bringing food to the family
NewBorn- ditto
Birthdays- cake and ice cream
Holidays- all the fixings!
Food brings us all to our common denominator.... human beings!
