Seared Sea Scallop - need suggestions for a passed hor d'oeuvres involving this?

Answers:

The classic recipe is to sear the scallops in butter and white wine, then wrap each scallop around the side with a slice of cooked bacon held with a toothpick.
You can also take the scallop and add a roasted red pepper on top with some chives. Offer a light tarter sauce on the side.
If the scallops are really thick, slice each to make it thinner.
