Omelet question?
I want to make a carmelized onion and gruyere cheese omelet for culinary arts at school.
should i
dice and then carmelize the onions
or slice, carmelize,and then cut slices into smaller pieces? any help appreciated
Answers:
Slice them thinly, but not too thinly (in slices, not rings) & carmelize...they will shrink down considerably so there shouldn't be any reason to cut them after cooking. It's a wonderful idea and hope it goes well!
