I bought fresh bay leaves. If they dry out, can I still cook with them just like ones from the spice aisle?


Answers:

yeah you can, but it's best to cook with them when they are fresh. Fresh herbs retain soooo much more flavor than dried. Be careful that there is no mold on them or anything when you dry them. you should probably put them in the oven on very very low heat to make sure you take the moisture out of them or something.
