What should I make for lunch today?
I have:
Leftover brown rice
Leftover chicken curry
Eggs
Turkey bacon
Bread
Cheddar cheese
Japanese eggplant
Apples
Peaches
Bananas
As well as typical pantry staples like flour, sugar, tomato sauce, pasta, canned tuna, and basic fridge staples like milk, mayo...
Any ideas? (I'm feeding my husband and two year old.) I'm bored.
Answers:
microwave the chicken, and rice, and eat it plain, or put it in a tortilla, to make a "curry" burrito, top it with the egg plant.
then, make fruit salad, with apples, peaches, bananas, and yogurt (if you have some)
or
have breakfast for lunch!
make a "birds" nest:
cut a hole in the bread with a cup, glass, or cookie cuter.
crack an egg in the hole in the bread, and cook it on the stove, untill the egg is cooked, serve with turkey bacon, and fruit! (if you want, you can put some cheese on the "birds nest")
or
cook the pasta and add tomato sauce, serve with garlic toast(toast with butter and garlic powder)
