Can I cook chicken burgers, refrigerate them and then microwave them?!

Question:

Can I cook chicken burgers, refrigerate them and then microwave them?

I really like them and I buy them a lot but it's costing me quite a bit and I wonder if I can cook them myself refrigerate them and then reheat them with microwave or is it unhealthy? some recipies have egg in them, I don't know if egg can last long in the refrigerator but I suppose I can skip the egg. I wonder how long can they last in the refrigerator. the thing is I don't want to just refrigerate them and then cook them when I need to eat, because when I am hungry I tend to just buy them instead of cooking because i don't have time!

Answers:

Yes you can. When you reheat put on a plate and cover with saran wrap. This will lock in the moisture so they won't be dry. It should only take 1 1/2 to 2 min. I make a cut in the center to check to see if it is hot. Another good way would be to make a bunch of them and freeze them in freezer bags or if you have a vacuum sealer that would work. I wouldn't freeze them more than a couple of months because they could get freezer burnt. I make burgers, single serving maid rites, tuna burgers ect. and freeze them separately and send them with my daughter to college.
