How do you pick out a good avacado to make guacamole?!

Question:

How do you pick out a good avacado to make guacamole?

Answers:

Like any other fruit, you feel the density of it and check out the color.
Is it too soft? Too hard? You need something in the middle.
What about the color? I've noticed avocados are usually tastier when they are a deep shade of green.

If you're looking to stay on the safe side, go with Hass Avocados or any Avocado from California.
