Can I marinate my fish in Worcestershire sauce?!

Question:

Can I marinate my fish in Worcestershire sauce?

Answers: Worchestershire sauce is a bit too strong for fish; it will over power it.

Lee & Perrins makes a white Worchestershire sauce that's good for fish & chicken. Anything's possible. Don't know how good it would be. well you can do anything but if it would taste good is another question sounds ewww Your poor fish! depends on the way you like it I suppose, it doesn't sound like it would taste that good. I had fish marinated in Italian dressing (oil kind) and it was wonderful. yes but i wouldnt for anylonger than 30 min. the acid will make the fish fall apart. Depends on the fish. Marinating makes the meat soggy sometimes. Try Worcestershire sauce with a little brown sugar as a glaze for your fish. Use it right before the fish is done and it should crust up a little for some good eats! I wouldn't. It's too strong a flavor for fish. You can if you want to, but try this hellman's mag. and relish, leave the on for a few hrs, then brush off and then fried in butter. it is soooo good. try it. I say try it. Be creative and try to find the next peanut butter and jelly. :)
