How do I roast a pork leg fillet end?
Its 1pm now and my guests will be arriving at 4pm, and I want us to eat between 6.30pm and 7pm, what time should I put the pork on and are there any special things I have to do to it? It weights 2.2kgs which I think is about 5 pounds. Im not very skilled in the kitchen so please keep it simple!

Answers: Basic Boneless Leg of Pork
3 1/2 to 4-pound boneless leg of pork (fresh ham)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place in a roasting pan and roast for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part reads 150 degrees F. (about 18-20 minutes per pound).
Remove from oven and cover.
Let rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
If your butcher has tied the roast with string, remove string before slicing.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
Cranberry Citrus-Glazed Pork Roast
1 (16-ounce) can Ocean Spray? Whole Berry or
Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon orange zest, optional
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
Combine cranberry sauce, orange juice, orange zest and sage in a medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Set aside 1 cup glaze to serve with cooked pork
Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 160oF on a meat thermometer. Baste frequently during baking with remaining glaze. Discard any unused basting glaze.
Let roast stand 10 minutes before serving. Serve glaze either warm or room temperature.
Apricot-Mustard Glazed Pork Tenderloin
3 tablespoons apricot preserves
5 tablespoons honey mustard
in small bowl stir together the preserves and mustard.
