Question:

This may sound dumb, but I'm gonna ask anyways.?

I don't have a rolling pin... I used to but something happened to it and now I don't have one. I have dough that has to be rolled out in less than an hour and I don't have time to go buy a new one. What can I use to roll the dough out with besides a rolling pin? (If there is anything)

Answers: I would say kneed it down and try to smooth it over with wax paper...or maybe a paper towel roll cardboard center but I would cover it with something cause of the glue...but it may be too flexible, depends on how flat it needs to be I guess and how perfect you want it, use something heavy and flat if needed and press it down even, I don't know hope that helps and something works...how's this put some dough between two plate and press them together just don't break the plates, that's about the best I can think of, or baking sheets even yeah that may work well...again use wax paper so it doesn't stick. McGyver A drinking glass works great. Use a clean wine bottle...or any bottle, actually.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and you can use a can. Use like a sterile hairspray bottle.
Or..a pop can..Lol, or..
Idk something to that shape.
Good luck with that. Pint glass, coffee can (if it's not too sticky-can may have ridges) if you understood how the incredibly complex device known as a rolling pin operates, you might be able to locate a suitable temporary substitute from among the other items in your kitchen anything that is cylindrical. a can. anything in the shape of a paper towel tube A coffe can or other large can or cylinder shaped object. a bottle, fill or whatever,an empty one you can fill it with sand, water. yeah..any clean bottle will do..thanks! Go for the wine bottle or something of similar heavy glass - just cover the dough with glad wrap and it won't stick.
