Preparing leftover coffee?!

Question:

Preparing leftover coffee?

There's some left over coffee in the coffee pot from this morning. It had been turned off probably at about 8 o clock, the coffee is still just sitting in the pot but its not hot. Is there anyway I could prepare it so that it's hot again and tastes good? Can i just put it in a mug and microwave it, turn the pot back on, or will it taste old and crusty?

Answers: Pour a mugful and put it in the microwave for about a minute and a half. Don't turn the coffee maker back on it could burn the pot. put it to chill put some cream and Carmel freeze //// you got Starbucks You can just put it in the microwave but it does not taste as good as fresh-brewed coffee! if you reheat coffee, to me i think that you might as well brew a new pot of coffee. it just does not taste the same as reheating Candace,
Pour out the old coffee, it does taste old & crusty.
As a coffee grower of Hawaiian coffee it's best to buy in bulk, say 1lb at a time-next grind your own coffee on a need to drink basis. Pour thru a filter that you buy and you'll be in coffee heaven.

Aloha. Coffee gets old and burnt tasting when it sits in the pot with the heat on for a long time. Just letting it sit all day shouldn't hurt the taste. I sometimes make a pot, let it cool and then put it in a container in the frig, so I can make iced coffee with it later in the day. Granted, it's not as fresh tasting as it would be if it were just brewed, but with a little sugar and cream, it should be fine. Coffee is not good after it sits. The oils separate. It's best to throw it out. Sorry. You can just microwave it but it has a totally different taste than freshly brewed. Pour it into a coffee cup and put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds. VANILLA LATTE
Take leftover coffee, mix it half and half with fat free milk.
Add 1 capful vanilla flavoring and 2 packets Sweet-N-Low, Splenda, or Nutrasweet. Stir.
Pour over ice and stir well.
This is cheap and beats Starbucks by a country mile!!!
