Magic bullet??!

Question:

Magic bullet??

does anyone have one and if so do you like it? do you use it as much as you thought you would? i am thinking of getting one please let me know thanx

Answers: I love my bullet!! I use it to mix up smoothies/protein shakes. It is also great to make cappucinos. It is sooo much easier to clean than the blender. I would definately buy this again!! My best friend bought one a few weeks ago. She loves it, uses it every day and keeps trying to talk me into buying one. If only I cooked.... When I got mine it was on TV and it came with all the gadgets. Then they started giving you 2 for 1. I had it for a few years, but I didn't use it every day. I like a knife. I did switch to whole coffee beans, having good grinding capabilities. I mostly used it for slushies and mint juleps. It never seemed to make anything as fast or smooth as the commercial. It wasn't until recently I made it my craft grinder. I puree my own pulp and make cards, so it went through it's paces until it overheated. I haven't tried to turn it back on after it cooled.
Get one there fun.
And I should get a royalty from this. I know of 2 friends that bought them. We've had barriatric surgery and need to puree lots of foods. They are useless. You can pulse with them, but if you hold them down for even a minute they bum themselves out. Don't waste your money. Buy an inexpensive blender or food processor instead. Great in theory, but a bad product in practical application.

Sorry. They are good for light blending and pulse blending only. With heavy use they burn out - experience speaking here. Plus the blend cup is small. Buy yourself a good blender. It will last a life time. The one I received as a wedding gift in 1963 is still in use. They're not much more expensive than the Magic Bullet.
