Chicken in breadcrumbs??!
Chicken in breadcrumbs??
how do i get the crumbs to stick to the chicken whilst i deep fry them?
Answers: Wash chicken. Pat dry on kitchen paper.
Roll in flour, then in beaten egg. Then dip in breadcrumbs.
Problem solved! Dip the chicken in egg first then the Breadcrumbs moisten the chicken with a beaten egg Dip them in flour and then in a beaten egg
or you can soak them in buttermilk dip in eggs first and put some parmesean cheese in the bread crumb mix yummy.....what time is supper Clean the chicken, get two eggs and a half a cup of milk, whisk that into a bowl, then season ur chicken to ur taste, then dip the chicken into the egg and milk, once u have dipped it, go ahead and dip it into the bread crumbs.
most of ur replies said " eggs", the reason i said eggs and milk, and because its a better batter when mixed together. you could use an egg batter to coat the chicken first then dip in the breadcrumbs. thats what I do this does work...either use an eggwash or mayo...i kid you not...this will not only allow the crumbs to stick, but add flavor...enjoy dip into an eggwash before battering One recipe I once followed told me to just roll it in flour beforehand, but that really didn't work. I would suggest either just whisked egg, or flour then whisked egg. Even better, do trial and error with all three and you get 3 excuses for fried chicken - yum yum! Enjoy! Did a good Chicken Kiev but baked in the oven. Bread crumbs, garlic, herbs, lemon rind, seasoning. Lightly bash out the chicken fillets, brush with egg white top with breadcrumb mixture, place on lightly greased baking sheet and place top of medium hot oven.
Serve with parsnip chips, baked too.
Enjoy
