Question:

At what temp and how long do I cook a baked potatoe?

Answers: Baked potatoes are very flexible. You can cook anywhere from 325 to 400 and they'll be fine.

Here's more info: http://whatscookingamerica.net/q-a/potat...

A medium potato at 350 is roughly an hour. At 400, rougly 45 mins. 350 for an hour Stick a knife into the potato a couple of times to release/vent steam and (I like) rub some vegetable oil all over it. Then pre-heat oven to 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the tatter. I agree with the 350 degree/one hour answer for a good sized tater, (about two fists worth)

Don't forget to wash it and poke it a couple of times. They can explode! I prefer to cut mine in half lengthwise and very lightly oil both the skin and the cut edge. Poke a couple of holes in the skin, just to be safe. Place them cut side down on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 min or so.
