Breaded Pork Chorps?!

Question:

Breaded Pork Chorps?

What's an easy recipe for baked breaded pork chops? Please include oven temp & baking time.

Answers: Okay...I know this sounds like a cop out...and you did ask for a recipe, however, some of the BEST breaded pork chops I've ever eaten were made with Shake-n-Bake. I swear!

I'm a good cook...and I make a lot of food from scratch, so I'm not lazy. However, I've always had a hard time with pork chops staying moist. Whether it's the ingredients, the cooking style, or timing....Shake-n-Bak has it down. They make one especially for pork chops too...although I've used the chicken box and it tastes almost as good.

Good Luck...and Enjoy!
The Coach Sorry - I would pan fry them. Dip the chop in some yogurt and then in some seasoned cracker crumbs then fry until golden on one side with some olive oil then do the same to the other side. Serve with lemon wedges. Whisk 2 eggs. Place pork chop in the egg and coat it thoroughly. Then place the pork chop in the breading and completely cover it. In a large skillet, swirl EVOO twice around the pan and place on medium- medium high. Cook until breading is golden brown on each side (generally about 3-5 mintues on each side). Then place in the oven at 400 for approximately 35-40 minutes. Season Pork chop - salt and pepper

coat with flour - shake off excess
Dip into egg wash
Coat in breadcrumbs (brioche bread, parmesan, thyme)

Pan fry with a little olive oil, once golden in colour place in oven for 10 min @ 180deg c

Take out of oven and let them rest whilst you plate up the rest. here it is.

Breaded Baked Pork Chops

Another combination of several recipes. The sage and Italian bread crumbs really make this a tasty dish!
by Denise!

4 boneless pork chops
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon oregano
1/2 tablespoon sage
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Melt butter and keep warm in large bowl.
Combine Italian bread crumbs, parmesan and spices in a large bowl.
Dip pork chops into butter mixture and then into bowl containing the bread crumbs and coat thoroughly.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until browned, depending on the thickness of the chops. I make a mean baked pork chop.
First I rub flour, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder on each side of the chop (thick chops are best)
second I then will brown the chop by placing it in a skillet with meted butter for about 3 minutes per side on a medium heat.

third, I remove the chop from the skillet and place in a shallow oven dish

Fourth-I section some apples and an onion to place on top and around the chop and add a small amount of water (just enough to cover the bottom of the pan

Fifth, I cover with foil and place into a preheated oven 350 degrees and bake for about 40 minutes I remove the foil during the last 10 minutes or so.

Serve with apples fried in butter with brown sugar and Cinnamon and eat it all up.....yum yum. buy some shake and bake and read the instructions
they come out very good Agree with most of the answers as good.
The flour-egg wash-breadcrumb procedure is the best for making sure the breading stays on the chops. Progresso Italian Breadcrumbs add lots of flavor, but you can season yourself.

I would lower the baking temperature to 275 or 300 degrees. (40 to 60 minutes)

Low and slow is always better for tender, moist meat.
"If its worth eating...its worth waiting for.
