Question:

So hungry!! lasagna?

Does anyone have a really good recipe for lasagna? im craving it!!! please help :-D

Answers: ingredients:
lasagna pasta /the sheets
store bought Italian sausage your own choice..
ricotta cheese
tomato sauce(your favorite one)
basil leaves
mozzarella cheese

i dont really know for how many people you are cooking for
but you can eyeball it and calculate it yourself;)

start by cooking the sausage

on a non stick pan
try breaking it so that it can resemble
ground meat
while this is cooking start preparing the other ingredients.
mix the ricotta cheese and the chopped basil all together
you can shred some mozzarella cheese or buy it shredded already dont mix these two, they should be in their own bowls.
you boil some water
and boil the lasagna sheets, making sure they dont stick
you drain the pasta
and immediately start placing the sheets
on a Pyrex dish
layering it as follows:
pasta sheets
tomato sauce
ricotta with basil mix
meat
mozzarella
pasta
ricotta with basil mix
tomato sauce
meat
mozzarella

do this until you feel is enough
cover with mozerella cheese again
and bake on a 350*degree oven
for 45min or until the cheese is melted
cool then eat
great with salad
and a good bottle of wine
enjoy

meunster
Grated:
parmesian
ramano
ricotta
1 onion
6 cloves garlic, minced
salt
pepper

pasta sauce or marinara sauce
start with 1 quart tomato sauce or crushed tomatos (if using fresh tomatos, start early and simmer down to desired thickness)
olive oil
tomato paste
oregano
basil
marjoram
crushed red pepper
garlic
onion
salt
pepper
sugar to balance acidity of tomatos

the exact amounts I use are left out due to the fact that I love strong flavors and spiciness. Slow cooker Lasagna
This is easy and so good!

1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
3 cans (15 ounces each) Italian-style tomato sauce
2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 ounces)
1 container (15 ounces) part-skim ricotta cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
15 uncooked lasagna noodles

1. Cook sausage and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, basil and salt.
2. Mix 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and the ricotta and Parmesan cheeses. (Refrigerate remaining mozzarella cheese while lasagna cooks.)
3. Spoon one-fourth of the sausage mixture into 6-quart slow cooker; top with 5 noodles, broken into pieces to fit. Spread with half of the cheese mixture and one-fourth of the sausage mixture. Top with 5 noodles, remaining cheese mixture and one-fourth of the sausage mixture. Top with remaining 5 noodles and remaining sausage mixture.
4. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 4 to 6 hours or until noodles are tender.
5. Sprinkle top of lasagna with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Cover and let stand about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into pieces.
This is great re-heated!
