How do you cook pan fish, crappie?!

Question:

How do you cook pan fish, crappie?

Answers: Oo, oo, crappie. Ummm.

Beer batter. Fillet. Fry. Ummm.

Beer batter calls for 12 oz. flat beer. 1 1/2 cup flour. 1 heaping teaspoon of baking powder. Salt and pepper (very little for crappie). 2 eggs or so (beat them in a bowl with a fork in case you don't need all of it.) Blend until mixed but not perfectly smooth. Ummmmmm.

Unfortunate spelling for crappie, huh. Wish they spelled the was it's pronounced: croppie Fillet the fish, dredge the filet's in seasoned flower, and fry in a pan in very hot oil, or deep fry them.

That's how I like them. Crappie are some of the best tasting fresh water fish there are, enjoy them!!!
