What colour do you prefer your bananas?
many people like to wait until they turn black before eating.....In fact many Asian supermarkets sell them like that
I like them still green and fry 'em up with bacon & coriander seeds..yummy!
Answers: I agree with "Pretty Kitty". Slighty GREEN, BUT MOSTLY YELLOW. yellow seems to be more...traditional I'd say. I think, Im not sure. Quit asking me questions. I cant think anymore. All i can think of is bananas!
The Bananas are chasing me. They're talking to me, make them stop. I think maybe Ill sneak up on one and eat it. Yeah ill eat it. Then they will stop messing with me.
Anyone up for a Banana Bash? Yellow Yellow with black flecks.
Don't like them under or overripe. Yellow. I like mine with a HINT of green in them still. Nice and firm is how I perfer mine. yellow Green and in a salad I like mine yellow with very few black marks on them. Yum yum! Very yellow, just before they turn black. But if i could colour one myself, I'd like them to be turquoise lol. Bananas are best eaten black, mashed with honey or Maple syrup.
This sort of food ensures that we Brits keep our teeth nice and brown. They are great when they are green, barely turning yellow. Thats to get the good flavor. the black ones you see in Asian supermarkets are more likely plantains, which are bigger and not as sweet, used in savoury dishes.
Green is good for you, lower GI, too green and they make my mouth go funny though! Black- yuck! I like mine yellow with no hints of green and no brown. I can tell if I have a good banana by how it feels when I unpeel it. If it’s hard to peel- it’s going to be tasteless. Super easy to peel & sometimes the top falls off- it will be mush and have brown spots. Frozen bananas dipped in chocolate is really good. Also like to add bananas to cold cereal and blend into milkshakes. same as above Just had two lovely bright yellow Choiquita nanas there now As per your recipe but add fresh green chillis and tomatos Blue
or purple with pink spots yellow oh your concoction sounds interesting!!!!
I dont like them too green or when they go spotty i have a very small window of time in which to eat them. I also dont like the stringy bits, bruises or end bit they make me gag I certainly am very picky when it comes to the ripeness of my naners! I don't like them if the peel has any green, I think then the banana has an unripped taste and its too firm. I like mine when its yellow and very few brown spots. Once it starts getting more brown, I think the flavor and smell is a bit pungent and strong. with a tinge of green and chilled!
