Answers: The chart is for the perfect conditions with the perfect oven. Never cook a chicken with time, always cook a bird to a temperature (180f breast temp.). If your oven is a little dirty or your thermostat is a little off you'll either have a raw bird or a bird that is overcooked and dry.

45 X 1.664 = 74.88 min. so about the hour mark check your breast temperature. This will give you an idea of how much longer it will take.

I have never been able to get a bird cooked correctly until I got a temperature probe. They always came out raw. one hour and fifteen minutes. 'Bout an hour & 15 mins to an hour & a half.... if you put in an alreay hot oven. Little over 1.5 hours. (to figure it out the quick and easy way, is .6 is a little over .5, which is half (so half of 45 is 24.5) so it would be a a little over 1.25 hrs. This is a simple math problem. 45 x 1.664 = 74.88. 74.88 minutes or about an hour and fifteen minutes.

This goes out to all of those kids who say, "When will I ever use math in real life?" well .5 is = to 30 min. so i would say about 1hour and 40 min.
