Answers: It's a good time to teach your child, esp, when she's 10 yrs!
You could cook simple cakes, lets say fairy cakes?
I made muffins by myself, it wasnt that bad, it kind of burnt, but it tastes good. the second time, it was perfect lol.
try muffin, but if you're able to buy the indgredients!
lol
tc and enjoy cooking with ur daughter!
Bx I would make Rock buns. Im not the best at making cakes and biscuits, so this is what I tend to stick to. If you google 'rock buns' it will bring the recipe up for you, and it doesnt matter what shape and size they are. I love rock buns with a cuppa (Have to really coz it's all we make, lol). Good luck. I am amazed she is 10 and hasnt cooked. I cooked with my mum from age 3 and my son who's 11 can now do a mean macaroni cheese and spag bol by himself. (as long as I am in the kitchen with him of course)
Look on line under..easy recipes, you will find thousands! flap jacks are easy and tasty used to love them as a kid ;) Check your cupboards then check these 2 sites....

You meltdown some chocolate mix in rice crispies and spoon into bun casings.
Loads of fun and messy
My kids love it Grilled cheese sandwiches, they are delicious and easy to make just search it on google if you are not a good cook it would be best to go to tessco or asda and you can buy the kits in a box for starting off you can get ones like chocolate chip cookies or muffins or barbie and scooby doo fairy cakes that is a great way of bonding with kids enjoy and dont mind the mess that can be cleaned up but moment like this only come now and again enjoy I would stay away from biscuits unless you buy the Pillsbury frozen kind. Homemade biscuits are actually difficult things to get right. They often turn into little hockey pucks. Try to stick with simple things like muffins from a store-bought mix, pancakes, waffles, etc. Put together a pizza by using store-bought dough. Buy a package of fajita seasoning and use it on some cut-up chicken pieces. Then shred some cheese and roll it all up into a tortilla shell and bake. Serve with a salad.
Good luck! Here is a great thing to make with kids:
/2 lb hot sausage (you can use mild)
1 (6 ounce) can italian flavored tomato paste
1/8-1/4 cup water (just to thin the tomatoe paste slightly)
2 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough (you can use reduced fat)
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
<
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a small saute pan, brown the sausage, and set aside to cool slightly.
In a bowl, mix together the tomatoe paste and the water, and set aside.
Unroll the crescent dough and split apart the triangles.
Spread about 1 teaspoon of the tomatoe paste on each of the crescents dough triangles.
Carefully sprinkle each with sausage crumbles and cheese (make share not to over fill them).
Gently roll the crescents, place them on a baking sheet, and bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
These are great it you serve them with warm pizza or pasta sauce for dipping.
Enjoy!
