What bread can I make for breakfast without an oven or toaster oven?
I'd like a bread to go with a breakfast I'm making. My oven won't be fixed for a week and I don't own a toaster. Is there a breakfast bread I can make/prepare without either of these? All I can think of is toast and biscuits that require a toaster and/or an oven. I'm making a typical American breakfast, if it matters, scrambled eggs and bacon like.
Thanks so much!
Answers: You can toast it in a pan like you would make a grilled cheese. Butter it first, then put it in the pan for a few minutes, turn, repeat. Pancakes or griddle scones would be nice. umm how about plain ole untoasted bread products?
toss all of you breakfast onto a hamburger bun.
but not your coffee You could make something like an indian roti bread and fry it in the frying pan.
Or buy some bread, put some oil or butter on it, and fry that in the pan as well. Fried bread, Bixquick.
You can make canned buiscuts in a skillet, just place in skillet and put on low with lid on, when they start getting brown around edges flip onto plate and plcthe tops back into skillet. French Toast

Bert French Toast is always a favorite around here :)
Serves/Makes:10 slices
Ingredients
3 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 T sugar
Cinnamon and sugar mixture
10 slices Bread (French bread works best!)
butter
powdered sugar
syrup (maple or other as desired)
Preparation
Beat eggs and milk.
Dip both sides of bread into mixture and let set for a 'short minute' to let the bread soak up some mixture.
In a pre-heated skillet, cook bread on both sides in a small amount of real butter! (Margarine disappears too fast!).
Before turning the slice over, sprinkle generously with a cinnamon sugar mixture.
Add more butter as needed.
When browned, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Top with more butter and syrup. Try slicing an english muffin part way and sticking some butter in and then microwaving it until soft and warm and butter is melted!
