Question:

Ok I defrosted peeled prawns (raw) and I got some...?

fresh lemongrass, garlic and 1 green thai chili and a piece of ginger left over from thai soup making the other day... I have rice but no noodles...any simple ideas? Got a grumpy 5 month old..lol..so I need something not to complicated :) (I also have some basic flovourings like fish sauce, mirin and soy..and lime juice (in a bottle)

Thanx a lot for ideas!!

Answers: Chop up an onion [or several spring onions] and sauté with the chili and the garlic. Add the lemongrass, grated ginger and the fish sauce, stir. Add some basic spices such as freshly ground black pepper, salt, parsley and coriander [or what you like/have]. I'd add a dash of cream or flour if you don't have cream, to make it a bit less watery.
In a different pan, fry the prawns with some olive oil and lime juice. When just done, mix sauce and prawns together.
Serve on rice. Sounds Thai! Look at Thai recipes. sautee the prawns in some mirin, garlic, lime juice and the chopped green chili, serve over the rice with some ginger on the side and some soy sauce.

mm...that sounds good!
