Question:

What is the best way to cook bacon so it is crispy?

Answers: Yes grill it but not slowly as this won't allow it to get crispy. Grill on full and keep an eye on it. If you don't have a grill, a non stick pan (no oil). Heat the pan fully, drop the bacon and remove the oil that the bacon (rashers( let off.) mmmmh That's making me hungry. Best to grill it......... in the grill mmmmm! bacon. {drool} hiya i agree with the previous answer grill it that way the fat crisps up nicely. use an open grill rather than fry it. It is slightly healthier that way too. Rub the bacon with ice to stop it curling, then a very hot pan with a splash of oil, when its very hot (smoking blue), put the bacon in, job done Grill it I would say. I also like it on my baby george forman grill For crispy bacon - grill it! Under the grill.....hmmmm.... can i have some as well. I'd grill it then make a BLT with brown toast lettuce and mayonaisse. very nice snackarooni (lol) I just cook it in a frying pan until all that fat is off. When it is done just take it out with a fork and a butter knife letting the last of the fat drain back into the frying pan. Crispy bacon. If you don't have a grill facility, almost dry fry it.
Just a little oil to grease your frying pan, cook on a fairly high heat and when the "water" runs out, tip this away and put the pan back on the heat. Keep the rind part turned towards the middle of the pan (highest concentration of heat) to "crozzle" it. Put it in on a tray with no oil and slowly cook it in the oven.
This way the liquid in the bacon will evaporate before the bacon is cooked giving a more crisp like effect and wont curl up.
Best to use streaky bacon. Grill.

Or fry in a little oil on medium heat, as it's more cooked turn the heat up until crispy. i think its best to just fry it without almost using any oil. at least thts what i do.

the bad thing about using oil is not only because it's oily (and thus fatty), but its also quite distressing when oil tends to splat around (ugh!).

because bacon already has in stored oil, there's no need for adding more oil (maybe a few tiny drops of oil will do). ur bacon will turn out less oily and also more crispy! Hi there
I do mine in the microwave on one of those microwave bacon trays just place kitchen paper on top of the bacon to stop the splatters, this also works if you don't want crispy bacon.
and more healthier. Grill it try tiny drop of oil in frying pan let it get very hot then add bacon and it will get such a fright it will crisp almost immediately leave it on the pan 4 longa x
