How long will my chicken take to cook?!

Question:

How long will my chicken take to cook?

ok so I put 2 boneless/skinless chicken cutlets in a small corning ware dish (no lid) with some bbq sauce, in the oven at 400 degrees. How long will it take to cook?

Answers: about 15-20 mins

**next time**
You actually should let the chicken bake for a while (5-10mins) before adding the sauce 30-35 min, check the center though About 20 minutes. But you should cook it at a bit lower temperature. If you cook it slower, it retains more moisture. It depends on the thickness of your chicken.. but all you have to do is take one out and check the inside so it isn't pink any longer. Should take about 25-30 minutes. You could also check the temperature and when it reaches 190 degrees Fahrenheit. i would cook it in a little water first and then drain water and add BBQ sauce. But no big deal if you added the sauce already. :)

I would cook it at about 350 though.. the slower it cook the more tender it is.. yummy! About 35-45 minutes depending on the thickness. Start checking it around that time. 25 - 35 minutes (depending on how thick the thickest part is.)

I bake mine in a roasting pan with the lid and add can chicken broth to keep it tender and moist so it will not dry out.

Also, you should bake your chicken first, then add your sauce and stick it back in the oven uncovered for 5 - 10 minutes more.

Putting the sauce on before will cause the sauce to burn.

I usaually cook at 350.
