Answers: Vanilla Buttercream

3 cups powered sugar
1/3 cup butter (softened)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 to 2 tablespoons milk

Mix powdered sugar and butter in medium bowl with spoon or electric mixer on low speed. Stir in vanilla and 1 tablespoon of the milk

Gradually beat in just enough remaining milk to make frosting smooth and spreadable. If frosting is too thick, beat in more milk, a few drops at a time. If frosting becomes too thin, beat in a small amount of powered sugar. CREAMY VANILLA FROSTING

1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco (may use same amount of butter or margarine instead of Crisco)
1 lb. (4 c.) confectioners' sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl at low speed of electric mixer until well blended. Scrape bowl. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes or until smooth and creamy.
