Making an apple and mango crumble?
got an hour spare at the moment and feel like experimenting
is this a disaster waiting to happen?
i've never tried mango and apple together before...
Answers: Apple and Mango Crumble
2 cooking apples
1 mango
4oz self raising flour
2oz margarine
2oz sugar
Core, peel and slice the apples and mango.
Put in a saucepan with 1cm deep of water.
Cook gently until soft.
Put fruit in bottom of a caserole dish.
Rub margarine into flour.
Stir in sugar.
Spread on top of fruit.
Bake for 30 minutes at 160C (Gas 5)
Serve hot with custard or cold with ice cream Oooohhhh!!! That sounds lovely.

Hmmm...sounds exotic...you can always try...i made some pear,banana and apple crumble 2 days ago, was absolutely delicious with warm custard....its good to experiment cooking food... no-ones died on me yet. how about mango and ginger (candied ginger is even better), or mango and peach, or mango with a dash of powdered cardamon, how about adding some chopped pistachios in the crumble topping?
