Bake 2 pies at once?!

I don't see why I couldn't, but could I bake two pies at once? It's 2 apple pies. Would i need to cook them longer than if it was just one?

My Grandma and I bake up to 8 meat pies at once, we rotate them from top rack to bottom rack, and everything turns out ok. Do you think bakeries bake one at a time?
