How to make bagged school lunches more interesting? Need help ASAP!?
I'm really sick of the whole sandwich thing everyday for a lunch at school. what else could I bring? The school doesn't have anything to warm food up in either. Please help me!
Answers: Try using tortillas for wraps, or use pita pocket bread, or bagels- make any types of sandwiches you like, just on a new bread.
Bring salads- fruit salad, veggie salad, just make everything chunky, with some ranch, or some yogurt for dipping. Bring a container of cottage cheese, with some chopped fruit on top, or chopped tomatoes and onions.
Get juice boxes or Capri Sun type drinks and freeze them, they thaw and are yummy by lunchtime.
Take string cheese and some nuts. Add a piece of fruit & there's a complete lunch. Chef Salads
Chicken cesear wraps
Pesto salad potato salad
tacos
cold pizza
green salad
anything left over from dinner that you like at room tempurature. ever tried lunchables they are good and they come in different variety I have several articles on my site about making lunches but the best is Add Variety To Your Child's Lunch which is the first link below. It offers suggestions for kids of different ages and lots of tips to help make it a fast and efficient process.
P.S. I have also included a second link below to an article on how to make sure your lunch will remain safe to eat until lunch time.
You might search lunches while you are there for more articles, I have at least 50 which might help you. take some leftovers that you wouldn't mind eating cold.
also, i used to take soup in a thermos with some nice bread and a salad. the thermos will keep it warm for a few hours.
