Cooked chicken mixed with gravy served over noodles?
Has you ever made something like that? Did you use chicken gravy or cream of chicken soup? My aunt made a dish that was like a creamy chicken served over egg noodles. It was very yummy. I can't remember if she said it was gravy or soup.
Answers: Yes, and I've made it both ways. Either is great. If you're in a rush, go with the can of condensed soup. On a rainy Saturday when you have time on your side, do the gravy. I think that the soup would taste better. You could try something like cream of mushroom or cream of asparagus soup, that would taste really good. Campbell's makes both of those. You can use either one. Personally I prefer to you cream of chicken soup. You can also make it with rice. Taste wonderful! if you take boneless cooked chicken and jars of boston market chicken gravy and mix them together to put on top of egg noodles it is delicous also you can get ready made pie crust in your grocerys freezer section and add frozen vegtables with your chickenand put it in the pie crust and bake at 350 degrees and when its golden brown make sure the pie crust is cooked fully ,you can serve over mashed potatoes GRAVEY !!!
sweety nothin better than the drippin's
otherwise use cream o -chicken soup add,
pepper-corns,celery,onion,or,s... sesame-seed's
and PLEASE COOK THE CHIC-TILL IT'S DONE BEFORE YOU PUT THE REST IN THE POT !!!! TASTE'S BETTER WHEN YOU HBROWN IT KINDA TOASTY IN A PAN !!
then make your dumplings (not more than some flour and grease with an egg to make it stick add some salt an pepper,hot-stuff if ya-wan'it and dont forget the secret to the dump's brown in the broiler to make'm crisspy H-MMMMMMMMMMMMM that's home-cookin !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i used both i prefer to use gravey because it think it just taste better Cooking for two, I usually don't have enough drippings from the chicken to make a good gravy so I use Cr of Cx soup and stir in some sour cream to taste. Works good on either noodles or rice or mashed potatoes.
