Cooking time for brownies in an 8x8 pan?!

Question:

Cooking time for brownies in an 8x8 pan?

I'm baking a batch of browines in an 8x8 pan. The problem is, damn pillsbury only gave the cooking time for a 13x9 inch pan (28-31 min). What's the time for 8x8?

Answers: Check it at 20 then 25 then 30. Check the edges, when they get a bit separated from the pan its done. Let cool for a while to even out the temp before cutting.

Error on the side of "less done" and you can always put it back in for longer. Just watch the your brownie pan after about 25-30minutes
I have included a basic brownie recipe that says to bake for 25-30 minutes.
Basic Brownies
Sometimes you just want a basic brownie - these are very quick, easy and yummy.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate together in a large saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. You put the batter for a 13 x 9 pan into an 8 x 8 pan???
All of it??? Too thick it won't get done in the middle before the outside edges burn. If you split it into 2 pans then you should subtract 5 minutes from the large size recipe.
