Whats the best recipe to make a killer milkshake?


I just want to know because I really love them and I want a really tasy treat.


Answers: Try these... not sure what flavors you like so I gave you a few of my favorites:

Vanilla Milkshake

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

4 cups quality vanilla ice cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
8 tablespoons sugar
2 cups milk, less for thicker milkshakes

Using a blender or milkshake machine, blend all ingredients together until smooth.
Serve in tall glasses with a straw.

Spiked Milkshakes

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 6 servings

6 ounces coffee-flavored liqueur (recommended: Kahlua)
6 ounces dark rum
6 tablespoons malt powder, plus extra for garnish
6 scoops chocolate ice cream
12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, shaved
12 ounces seltzer
3 tablespoons coffee beans, crushed (recommended: espresso roast beans)


In a blender, combine the coffee liqueur, dark rum, malt, ice cream and chocolate shavings. Blend until frothy.
Pour into 6 glasses, top off with 2 ounces of seltzer, and garnish with the crushed coffee beans and a pinch of malt and serve immediately.

Malted Black and White Milkshakes

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 2 servings


2 pints good-quality vanilla ice cream, slightly softened (recommended: Haagen-Dazs)
3 to 4 tablespoons malt powder
6 ounces chocolate sauce, divided
Whipped cream, for garnish
Shaved bittersweet chocolate, for garnish

Place 1 1/2 pints of ice cream, malt powder, and 4 ounces chocolate sauce in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour shakes into 2 tall glasses, leaving a little room at the top. Place an extra scoop of ice cream on top of each shake and drizzle the remaining 2 ounces chocolate sauce over. Garnish with a large dollop of whipped cream and some chocolate shavings. Serve immediately.

White Russian Milkshake

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 2 servings

2 ounces coffee-flavored liqueur (recommended: Kahlua)
2 ounces vanilla-flavored vodka
1 ounce creme de cacao
2 scoops premium vanilla ice cream
Toasted sweetened coconut flakes, garnish
Unsweetened cocoa, garnish


In a blender, combine the coffee liqueur, vodka, creme de cacao and ice cream. Blend until frothy.
Pour into 2 glasses, garnish with the coconut flakes and cocoa and serve immediately.

Cinnamon Roll Milkshake

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 2 to 4 servings

4 scoops premium vanilla ice cream
1 package instant pudding, prepared according to directions
1 cup milk
3 heaping spoonfuls caramel ice cream topping
Cinnamon and Sugar, recipe follows
Cream Cheese Icing, recipe follows
Cinnamon stick


In a blender, mix together the ice cream, pudding, milk, and caramel. Add the cinnamon/sugar mixture (leaving a little left over). Blend until combined. Top with a dollop of cream cheese icing, sprinkle with a little cinnamon/sugar over the whole shake. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Cinnamon and Sugar:
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Combine both ingredients in a small bowl.



Cream Cheese Icing:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1 stick butter
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Beat together ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth and incorporated.

- I've got two recipes:

1. Lucky Red Shake:
1 cup strawberry soda
2 strawberries, stemmed and sliced
1 scoop strawberry ice-cream

Pour the soda into a mud; add ice cream and the strawberries. Serves 1.

2. Monkey Madness:
1 cup vanilla ice-cream
3/4 cup milk
1 banana
4 tablespoons chocolate syrup

Blend all the ingredients until smooth. Pour into two glasses and serve.

Hope this helps! You can kick up any milkshake into a malt by putting 2 tablespoons of malted milk powder in the blender with the other ingredients. YUMM

Here's a couple of our favorite milkshakes...

Chocolate Cherry Milkshake
4 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
3/4 cup cold milk
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
3 maraschino cherries, stems removed
Whipped topping & additional cherry

Place ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup and cherries in blender. Blend until smooth. Garnish with whipped topping and cherry.


Chunky Monkey Milkshake
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 tablespoons chocolate chips
1/2 banana
1 tablespoon instant coffee
2 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Place everything in a blender and blend on medium for 1 minute, until smooth. hey , i love these typ'a questions
1) Sharjah
Required -: Plantain/ red/ normal Bananas, Any Chocolate Powder( Or Just Use Milo), Milk
Proc. -: first of all, freeze the milk to ice, then put it in a grinder, add sliced bananas & choc. powder (& sugar too)
blend it and topit up with vanilla or watevr u like........if u like it plz. vote this as best answer I love orange milkshakes, they remind me of the dreamsicles I had growing up.

DREAMSICLE MILKSHAKE
In blender, puree 1 c. diet orange soda with 1/2- 3/4 c. fat-free, sugar free vanilla ice cream (depending on how thick you want it).

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons granulated sugar 3 tablespoons mocha flavored
instant coffee mix
1 cup crushed ice

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a blender or food processor, combine milk, vanilla, sugar, coffee powder and crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
