Answers: 65 g marg. 40g. lard 75g caster sugar half an egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence. 150g sr/flour, oats or coconut glace cherries

oven 180c 350 f gas 4. grease 2 baking trays,cream marg sugar and lard. beat in the half egg and essence.
stir in flour and mix well.
roll watnut sized pieces into balls and toss in rolled oats or coconut.
place on baking trays. flatten slightly put small piece of cherry on top.
bake for ten to fifteen mins. Heres one I found online... aint got around to trying it out yet.

this will make you a batch of around 2 dozen cookies

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 ounces cream cheese
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Cream butter, slowly add cornstarch and 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar; beat til fluffy. Stir in flour with wooden spoon (very soft dough). Cover and chill 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Roll dough into 24, 1 inch balls. Place 1 and 1/2 inches apart on ungreased sheet. Press slight indentation on top of each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes until firm, not brown. Cool, top with icing.
To Make Icing: Blend cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar til smooth. Mix in vanilla or 1/4 t. of another extract and a few drops of food coloring if desired. Mix well. http://bandb.about.com/od/cookierecipes/... Recipe for Melting Moments
65gr of Self raising flour( 2 1/2 oz)
40gr caster sugar(1 1/2 oz)
50gr margarine(2 oz)
few drops of vanilla essence
oats or desiccated coconut

Cream marg, sugar and essence
Stir in flour and mix thoroughly
divide mixture into about 20 pcs roll into a ball and toss in oats or coconut.
Place on a greased baking tray flatten slightly and place a small piece of cherry on each biscuit.
Bake in a moderate oven 180C or gas mark 4 for about 15mins.
