Answers: Little smokies are a great snack food! Since they can come pre-cooked, popping them in the microwave for three minutes should warm them nicely. If you like cheese, try slicing them lengthwise and tucking a little of your favorite shredded cheese in them. If you don't have a microwave, set your oven on to preheat to 350 degrees and bake these tasty morsels for about five to ten minutes ( I like them with a sprinkle of brown sugar on them when baking). Here's another idea. Chili fan? Little smokies are a great addition to your chili. I like to chop them up in bite-size pieces, so they will heat up fast and pour their flavor out. Bring you chili up to temp (145 degrees), add smokies, and turn down temp to simmer for about ten minutes. Good Eats. if we are talking about the same thing here little smokies are already cooked, so just open the package and chow down, i have never had them cooked, always eaten cold in some sort of appetizer.........i like them with crackers and cheese and beer............good luck.........how would you cook these anyways, post something cuz i am really curious......... I'm sure you could microwave them...
they might not taste the BEST but they'd at least be warm. I'd check 2 see if they're pre-cooked. If so, then just throw some BBQ sauce in a bowl w/ them (and I add 1/2 a teaspoon of mustard) and microwave them. U may want to add a couple of drops of Worsesteshire also. ..or try a terriake merinade....or my friend swears by BBQ sauce and jam (equal parts...your favorite jam/jelly/or preserves). They should come precooked. Simmer them in grape jelly for about 20 minutes. Great for parties or a quick snack.
