Chevy's corn mush?!

Question:

Chevy's corn mush?

on the kids' meals at Chevy's they give you this yellow corn mush stuff. i just tried it today and it tasted great, i just wanted to know what it's made of?

Answers: My mom always made cornmeal mush. All it is is cornmeal poured into boiling water with a little salt added. Stir until it thickens. Remove from heat. But, what my mother would then do is pour it into a square cake pan and let it cool and then refrigerate it. Then she would cut it into squares and brown it in a pan of butter and serve it with syrup. It was very good. I have NO idea what it's made of...but I know what you're talking about...

that stuff looks nasty It is actually polenta. You can buy it in the store. Just ask for polenta and bring it home to enjoy. I purchased the Chevy's cook book for my aunt, and it had the recipe for that in it. After she made it, it tasted like the one they had at the restaurant. Good luck
