What is your favourite recipe for curry sauce?



Answers: 5 tbsp vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan.
4 cloves, 2 black and 2 green cardamoms, 3 shards cinnamon, 8-10 curry leaves - all into pan, cook for 30 seconds until aromatic.
2 finely chopped onions - into pan, cover with oil, cover and cook for 5 minutes
2-3 cloves garlic chopped, 1 inch root ginger chopped or 2 tsp ginger paste, 1 whole green chilli chopped (including seeds if you like it hot), or more chillis or just the flesh and not the seeds if you like - stir into onions, continue to cook for another minute.
Ground spices: 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp chilli powder. Plus 1 tbsp fenugreek (methi) leaves and 1/2 tsp salt - mix into onions really well, cook for another minute.
3 whole tomatoes, very finely chopped, or pureed if you prefer - add to the pan, mix well, cook for another minute then take it off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
At this point you can add yogurt or cream. The more you add, the milder it will be. 1 tbsp Greek yogurt or Onken Biopot (fat free!) is good for a hot curry. Or you can add some double cream, which tastes great but makes the calorie content scary.
Slowly reheat it until bubbling gently, then you can add your meat (4 chopped chicken breasts should be enough, if you're using chicken... an equal amount of lamb is good, or you can use a combination of lentils and chickpeas, precooked). Coat the meat really well. Then add half a cup (a cup, not a mug) of water, stir well, pop the lid on and cook very gently for about an hour.

This sauce is nice served with boiled rice, chappattis, or naan breads. not fer me no like currry I love Vegi curry.
The way i make it is as followed:
1. Frying on olive oil onions, garlic ,carets papers eggplant etc.
2. The secret is to add also appalls!!!!This really make the taste of the hot and sweet.
3. Then add milk and the curry powder. Cook until everything is soft.
4. Serve with white rice or rice noddles.

diet orange tango bring to boil and add a couple of packets of minestronie cup a soup

does sound dredfull, but it is very nice believe it or not Fry 2 onions till soft, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, garem masala, garlic, salt and tin of chopped tomatoes. Blitz in a blender and that's it - easy!
