How much do I shorten the cooking time if recipe says 350, but I'm baking at 375?
I'm making two things tonight for dinner and both require the oven. So I was going to double up and bake them at the same time. My casserole says to bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes and my vegetable recipe says to bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
I'm going to use the higher temperature for baking, but am not sure how much that will shorten the cook time for the recipe that calls for the lower temperature? Any ideas?
Answers: say 30 mins, minus 12 mins. to it. so the time would be 18 mins. sounds quick maybe 20 to 25 mins. for good measure unless chicken or fish maybe as long just keep moist!! If you cook chicken with vegetables you have to be careful of the chicken splattering on the veggies. This could cause cross contamination and make you sick. Cover the chicken with foil and cook them both at 350.
